Catching at VBS nurturing at Sunday School

Sunday School is one of the major Christian Education programme that should happen in every Churches with proper curriculum and well trained teachers. John Wesley, who is the founder of Methodism says that the Sunday Schools are nurseries to Church. Flock believes that ‘the revival in every Sunday School is the revival of the Church; and the revival of the Church is the revival of the nation’. We implement few techniques that help the Sunday School to revive theSunday Schools physically and spiritually. From the life of Robert Rakies who is the father of Sunday Schools, we understand that Sunday Schools bring massive social reformation in a country at large. Keeping everything in mind we prayerfully work in Sunday Schools.
Flock encourages Sunday Schools to have membership with us and take our periodical consultation, teacher training and material support. Flock encourages our members to use our curriculum which is given in the literature page.

VBS is one of the powerful tools that created a big impact in our country. Flock interested to use this tool in every part of our country to bring God expected revival. We even pray and find ways to develop this programme in few other countries since the Lord told us to reach all the nations.
Children like VBS because of new themes and Songs. Flock will release new themes and songs every year to make the VBS more meaningful. The curriculumthat involves in the class rooms help the children to learn the truth. Rev. GeorgeStephenson who is the pioneer of Flock Foundation, has written and design a special curriculum along with Rev. David Livingston, which is presently used by another kids ministry. There are so many other VBS syllabus also available in the VBS markets. Therefore Churches can buy any lessons according to the spiritual ability of their children and can use Flock’s theme and songs. It is also the burden of Flock to develop a special curriculum which is to be used in the VBSs that helps every tribe to come to the Lord. Flock encourages our readers topray for this.

We need to use every opportunity to help the children to come to the Lord and toget connected with Him always. Keeping this in mind we encourage the churches to conduct Children Camps, Rallies, Retreats, ect... Children Camps can be conducted for two or three days. Rallies and retreats can be conducted for one day. Flock conducts all such programmes with a proper theme. We use Bible Lessons, Missionary Biographies, Object Lessons, Nature Talk, Puppets, Skits, Music, Games... to reach our task.
